Yesterday Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by Mr. Larry Elliott of http://www.larrylikelincoln.com, visited our 5th Grade Students! Mr. Elliott’s living history presentation was engaging and very informative. Thank you to Mr. Elliott for this captivating presentation and to North Washington FRYSC for sponsoring this program.

On April 11th, North Washington 4th and 5th Grade Students competed in 4-H Speech Contests. We are proud of all the participants. Each of them demonstrated hard work, determination, and skill! Congratulations to these four students, who won a brand new bike and helmet! All students with perfect attendance for the month of March were entered into the drawing. The bikes were donated by the Masonic Emulation Lodge #688 of Sharpsville. North Washington Middle School hosted its first ever Reading Fair last week! Students worked individually or with partners to create a display related to a book that they read.
