Preschool Students Learn about Community Helpers

Last Friday, preschool students at NWES who have been learning about community helpers, chose their favorite community helper and dressed up like them and also brought tools associated with that job. Perfect Attendance Winners

Over 200 North Washington students had perfect attendance from January 17th to February 28th. Four winners were drawn and each received a brand new bike and helmet, courtesy of the Masonic Emulation Lodge 688, Sharpsville!  The winners are: Noah Boblitt Madelyn Jones Carmon Logsdon Eddie Thompson Congratulations to these students! Principal Taped to the Wall!

At North Washington, Read Across America Week was capped off with a celebration assembly in which Principal Amanda Mattingly was duct-taped to the wall by students from each grade level as a reward for achieving their reading goals!                         


NW PTO Pizza Fundraiser!

The North Washington PTO is holding a Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser.  Order forms and information went home in students’ Tuesday folders.  Be sure to support our PTO with this delicious fundraiser!

NW Hosts Backyard Book Fair

The North Washington Family Resource & Youth Services Center is hosting the Backyard Book Fair this week in the library! The book fair will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday.  On Thursday the book fair will stay open until 7:00 p.m., and Friday until noon.


NW Friends & Family Breakfast Week

Our Friends & Family Breakfast Week in conjunction with the Backyard Book Fair started off great!  We invite parents to come out and enjoy a free breakfast with their children, meet their friends and learn more about your school.
