Washington County Elementary School’s kindergarten graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. WCES will promote 61 kindergarten students to the first grade. (Springfield, Ky.) – Washington County High School’s greenhouse will be open for business starting today. Bart Mattingly, WCHS agriculture teacher and advisor the WCHS chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA) says that seeding, transplanting, variety selection and inventory started immediately after the holiday break. “We completed the Poinsettia sale and jumped right in to spring production,” he said. His students are given tasks and jobs to complete each day….

The Dwight Wright Memorial Scholarship is being offered to WCHS seniors. Mr. Wright spent 50+ years dedicated to helping the city of Springfield become the community it is today.
