The WATCH Dog Program that was launched at WCES and WCMS this year has been a huge success!   3rd Grade Student of the Month is Lucas Tatum: Lucas is the son of Glory and Timothy Tatum. His favorite teachers are Mrs. Vincent and Mrs. Newton and his favorite subject is Language Arts. WCES Family “Mystery” Night

The Title 1 night was based on the book series “39 Clues.”  Students went on a clue scavenger hunt throughout the school.  They were trying to decode a mystery word which would lead them to a prize.  Each clue contained a piece of the puzzle or a code to help with the clue.  The kids had a great time with this activity and we are glad everyone came for this…

Students Raise Money for Camp Quality Kentuckiana

5th grade students at WCES raised over $400 for Camp Quality Kentuckiana, an organization that provides kids with illnesses an opportunity to “act like a kid”, during their Entrepreneur Fair in September. Eddie Bobbitt, a representative from the organization, stopped by the school last week to speak to students and was presented with a check from the students! Cradle School Concludes for the Fall Season

The last day of Cradle School was so much fun! Ione Pinkston, from the Washington County Library came by and read some awesome Halloween books with the kids. She also did a Halloween sing along which was a hit! While the kids were having a blast in the classroom, Jessica Bickett from Lincoln Trail discussed car seat safety with the parents and provided them with all kinds of good resources….
