Kindergarten students and their siblings recently participated in Superhero Literacy Night at WCES.  Students took part in several superhero themed activities, dressed as their favorite superhero, and even got to meet a few superheroes while parents met with teachers to discuss their child’s progress.

WCES Students Learn Flag Etiquette

      Fifth grade students at WCES have been given the responsibility of putting up and taking down the flag each day. Students attended an informational session, taught by an Army Veteran, on the importance of the flag and flag etiquette. Student Entrepreneurs Raise Money for Charity

Ms. Wells, Mrs. Burkhead, and Mrs. Taylor’s fifth grade students recently participated in the Entrepreneur Fair.  Students, working in small groups,  were asked to come up with an item to sell to other students and teachers.  They had to formulate a business plan, figure input costs, advertise, and make their items to bring in.  The Fair was a huge success and the money raised through this project will be donated…
