(SPRINGFIELD, Ky.) – Washington County Schools has named Patrick Gribbins as Instructional Supervisor for the district. Gribbins is a 2012 graduate of Marion County High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (P-5) in 2017 and a Master of Arts in Education in Educational Administration (Principal P-12) in 2025, both from Campbellsville University. Gribbins has spent the last nine years teaching in Marion County Public Schools at Glasscock Elementary School, where he taught second grade for one year before spending the past eight years teaching kindergarten.

“My experience in both grade levels provided me with a strong understanding of student development and the importance of building a strong foundation for learning,” said Gribbins. “Those years in the classroom also helped shape my passion for supporting teachers and creating meaningful learning experiences for students. After nine years in the classroom, I felt ready to use the knowledge and experiences I had gained as a teacher to support educators on a broader level. I enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas, and helping teachers feel confident and successful in their classrooms. I saw this position as an opportunity to continue serving educators and students while making a positive impact across the district. In this position, I hope to build strong relationships with teachers and schools while providing meaningful support that positively impacts instruction and student learning. I want to help teachers feel supported, encourage collaboration, and provide practice resources and strategies that can be implemented in the classroom. Most importantly, I hope to create a positive instructional environment where teachers feel empowered to grow and students are given every opportunity to succeed.”
