About the teacher

I am Nicole Britton! I am 34 years old,  the mother of 2 awesome children, Tylee and Cole! I am from Campbellsville, KY. I graduated from Campbellsville High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree, from the University of Kentucky, in Special Education for Students with Moderate and Severe Disabilities. I earned my Master of Science degree and a Master’s Certificate in Assistive Technology, from the University of Kentucky. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2012.  Currently, I am working toward my Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership through the University of the Cumberlands.  I have been a teacher for 11 years.  The first 7 years I taught at Washington County High School. Then I taught at North Washington Elementary for 2 years. During the 2015/2016 school year I taught at Taylor County Middle School. I am thrilled to be back in Washington County, my home away from home. In my spare time I enjoy training my Special Needs Assistance Dog, Merle. Merle has one year of classroom experience and is extensively trained, hopefully he will join me in my work again in the near future.  This is a great place to work and learn. I hope you love it as much as I do!
