Washington County School District Early Release Student Support Sessions   (Register by Aug. 28)

Washington County School District will have early release time for students on Friday afternoons from September until April. Students will leave school at approximately 1:00 p.m. each Friday, beginning on September 6, in order for teachers to work collaboratively on curriculum, instruction, and assessment design.  Buses will provide transportation during the 1:00 release. Students may also leave as walkers or car riders based on documented transportation plans.

Students who need time for additional academic supports will benefit from this early release opportunity.  Schools will offer weekly support for students in homework help, test make-up/retake, technology camps, and healthy lifestyles.

In order to ensure resources are available, please complete the registration form at the link below if your child plans to remain at school during the Early Release Friday (1:00-3:00) schedule.  Students and families will be responsible for all transportation at 3:00. Buses will not run at the 3:00 closing time on Early Release Fridays. If your child will need to remain at the school after 3:00, please contact your school for information on the after-school childcare program.
