Washington County Schools are closed Tuesday, Jan. 16th and Wednesday, Jan. 17th, due to road conditions and inclement weather. Commander Day #4 is today, Jan. 16th. Commander Day #5 will be tomorrow, Jan. 17th. Everyone be safe!

Congratulations to Erin Donahue for winning the school spelling bee! One top speller from each homeroom competed together, and Erin was the top speller among those students. She will go on to compete at the district spelling bee on January 22nd at 5:30 PM to be held in the North Washington Cafeteria. See more pictures below! We would like to thank our tireless PTO workers who go above and beyond the call of duty in supporting everyone at North Washington School. One of the PTO fundraisers is pie sales. North Washington Girls’ Basketball Team, coached by Mrs. Rhoda Whitaker, was recognized during an assembly yesterday for their hard work in earning the title of NIT Champions. These student athletes worked hard to earn the title and we are so proud of them.
Our Elementary Junior Beta Students had a good time ringing the bell for the Salvation Army this past weekend. Through their volunteer work, approximately $1,000 was raised! If you’d like more information about volunteering to ring the bell, we can put you in contact with the schedulers!
North Washington Preschool and Primary students have hung up their stockings, created graham cracker candy houses, submitted Elf Applications, and even tried making the Grinch smile with their festive art projects.
