These students were among many who earned their certificate for completing Minecraft’s Hour of Code project.   Below: Jessica uses Scratch programming to change Google’s logo! Below: Third Grade Students from Mrs. Hardin and Mr. Mattingly’s classes have been learning how to “write code” using computer programming language in Technology class.  They were very successful!  Way to go, students!            


100th Day of School

Kindergarten students celebrated the 100th Day of School by participating in counting lessons and activities, creating 100 themed accessories and dressing for the occasion!

Calendar Update! The WCBOE voted at last week’s Special Session/Work Session to use two bank days as make up days for January 12, 2018 and January 19, 2018. Students will NOT make these days up, but staff will make them up.


Academic Team Wins District Competition

Congratulations to our Middle School Academic Team for earning the title of District Champion at the Governor’s Cup competition this past weekend! North Washington Middle School Academic Team was 1st place overall in District 44, and placed 2nd in Future Problem Solving.  Future Problem Solving Team members include Maddie Kate Gabhart, Dawson Coulter, Noah Reynolds, and Grayson Settles. School Closed Tuesday and Wednesday

Washington County Schools are closed Tuesday, Jan. 16th and Wednesday, Jan. 17th, due to road conditions and inclement weather.  Commander Day #4 is today, Jan. 16th.  Commander Day #5 will be tomorrow, Jan. 17th.  Everyone be safe!


WCS Closed Thursday and Friday

Washington County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 11th, and Friday, January 12th due to illness. We will have Commander Day #3 tomorrow.  We are praying that everyone gets well soon.
